This sketch is similar to some cards I recently made with a scallop circle dress. (I will post those soon) But it didn’t have the layer so I thought I’d make another dress card for this challenge. I can always use extra cards, and I already have a recipient in mind :)
So, here’s my card for the challenge:
Stamp set: Hugs & Wishes
Paper: Whisper White, Regal Rose card stock, Sweet Always DSP
Ink: Pumpkin Pie classic ink
Accessories: 1/16” circle punch, Eyelet border punch, Scallop circle die, Big Shot, Soft Subtles brad, Flower Fusion felt flower, Stamp-a-ma-jig, SNAIL adhesive, paper trimmer
I saw the idea for this card on Patty's Stamping Spot. She includes the template for the scallop dress in this post.
For the belt, I used a ¼” strip of the same DSP pattern that I used on the bottom of the card. Ribbon works well for a belt too but I wanted something slightly different for this card.
I created a duplicate card but this time I made the dress for a junior. I cut off one scallop on each side of the dress following the original angles. Thanks, Lynette, for the suggestion!
As you can see, it’s just slightly smaller than the dress on the first card. The difference isn’t very noticeable but I like it.
If you would like to participate in the sketch challenge, post a comment and link to your blog, or upload to your Splitcoast gallery using the keyword DivaSC34. Go to UDI for more information about the challenge and to view the other Divas’ work.
Have fun stampin’ and creatin’!

So cute! I love the 'junior' dress. :) Interesting that we both used the same type of card for the sketch, yet they are both different. :) Great job!!
