I was unable to do last week’s sketch challenge due to family visiting from out of state, so I wanted to make sure to participate in this week’s challenge. Click here to see the sketch and to view the other Divas’ work.
I decided to use some of the new In Colors from our brand new 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog. Here I used Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo along with Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.
Stamp set: A Rose Is A Rose, French Script
Paper: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss Classic ink
Accessories: 1/8” circle punch, Eyelet Border punch, clear rhinestones, ½” Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Grosgrain ribbon, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Stampin’ Dimensionals, SNAIL adhesive, Sticky Strip, Paper Snips, Craft & Paper Scissors, paper trimmer
I used the Eyelet Border punch on the Melon Mambo card stock but it’s difficult to see in the picture. The rose and leaves are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I layered the new ½” Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon on top of the Melon Mambo eyelet border. I really like this polka dot ribbon. The same style of ribbon is available in all 6 of the new In Colors. I can’t wait to use the other In Color ribbon as well as card stock and DSP. It was fun to use these new colors :)
If you would like to participate in the sketch challenge, post a comment and link to your blog, or upload to your Splitcoast gallery using the keyword DivaSC37.
Have fun stampin’ and creatin’, and enjoy your holiday weekend!

Wow, look at all those pretty colors! I love it!!!
This is a great way to use up some of my treasured scraps.... Michelle, your card is adorable and your work always makes the wheels in my head turn. I miss not being able to watch you work on your projects. I'm gonna have to try to do these Diva challenges although I'll be using retired SU stuff and at times non-SU stamps....but I really like your interpretation of the challenge.
Wish I was coming with Alicia to visit you. Have fun!!!!
Very pretty!
What an eye-popping card! Very summery! Love the little scallop dresses too!
