I needed to make a bridal shower gift for my future sister-in-law, so I decided to decorate a mini mailbox in her wedding colors since my brother told me she’d love a decorated mailbox. I wanted to make it slightly different than the other mailboxes I’ve decorated, especially since this was for a bridal shower. This is what I came up with:
I adhered real lace on top of red DSP (from Western Sky), cutting a hole in the fabric around the end of the flag. The lace wanted to pull up at that spot, so I created a paper reinforcer to keep the lace down. The rest of the details should be noticeable, but if you have any questions, post in the comment section please.
